CE Supply Doubles Donations to Fight Cancer During Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Strives for $100,000 Goal

CE Supply Store is committed to donating between $25,000 and $100,000 to support research and treatment at City of Hope for men’s and women’s cancers. To help reach that goal faster, and support Breast Cancer Awareness Month, CE Supply is doubling its October donations for products supporting women’s cancer research.

City of Hope is a leading research and treatment center for cancer and other life-threatening diseases. Recognized worldwide for its compassionate patient care, it has been designated as a comprehensive cancer center, the highest recognition bestowed by the National Cancer Institute.

Normally, for every item purchased from the “Making the Case for Hope” product line, CE Supply Store donates $1 or $2, depending on the product.

“We’re serious about raising this money to fight cancer. We really want to max out our $100,000 donation, and we hope doubling our donations during Breast Cancer Awareness Month will get us to our goal,” Louise Caren, CEO, said.

Products that qualify for donation-doubling include, the Valencia case for iPad 2, and the Pink Forza armband, which fits the iPhone 4, 4s, 5 and newly released iPhone 5s and 5c.

The Valencia is a pink leather case for the iPad 2 that offers all the same features as CE Supply’s best-selling Toblino 2 case. Debossed into the lower corner of the pink case is a ribbon emblem displaying awareness and support for the fight against women’s cancer.

The Forza armband for iPhone 5, 5s and 5c, keeps your phone secured with a gray strap lined with pink accents that also bears the pink ribbon emblem.

“The Forza is perfect for women who motivate themselves with music from their iPhone at a run/walk. And the Valencia case lets women who can’t participate in those activities get involved by raising awareness when they use their iPad,” Caren said.

“We made these products, and now doubled our donations to motivate others to help fight cancer. The great thing is, by using these products, our customers are motivating others too. This is about more than carrying your gadgets. It’s about getting people to think about how they can get involved in curing cancer,” Caren said.

All of the products in CE Supply Store’s “Making the Case for Hope” line are available on its website, which offers free three-day shipping within the U.S. To purchase or learn more about CE Supply Store and its “Making the Case for Hope” program, visit http://www.cesupplystore.com/modules/store/City-of-Hope_C37022.cfm
